Supporting our nursing staff is a team of Certified Nursing Techs and Nursing Assistants with the aptitude and sincere desire to work with the aged and infirm. As integral members of our nursing team, they provide hands-on assistance to ensure that our residents achieve the highest level of functioning and the most comfortable lifestyle possible.
Our nursing staff is trained in maintaining the tube insertion site and administering supplements and medications through the tube. A registered dietician monitors nutritional and caloric intake and recommends adjustments based on consumption, tolerance, and weight.
Dieticians plan meals for each resident according to their needs and preferences. Residents enjoy a balanced diet that spreads carbohydrates throughout the day to prevent high blood sugar levels after meals. Nurses and dietary staff also provide instruction to help residents maintain independence and control their diabetes.
Residents are also encouraged to participate in exercise or other physical activities to improve insulin response and management.
If a wound is present, our goal is to promote healing and prevent infection through aggressive care and intervention.
24-Hour Skilled Nursing Care

IV Therapy
Intravenous (IV) therapy may be used to restore or maintain the body’s normal fluid and electrolyte balance or to provide nutrition or medication. Our nursing staff administers IV fluids according to physician orders, maintains and monitors injection sites, and changes tubing and dressing regularly.Tube Feeding
A feeding tube is a thin, flexible catheter inserted into the stomach and stitched in place to provide food and fluids to residents who are otherwise unable to receive nourishment. Placement is performed surgically under general or local anesthesia.Our nursing staff is trained in maintaining the tube insertion site and administering supplements and medications through the tube. Ostomy Care
Colostomy, ileostomy, and nephrostomy appliances and administration sites are monitored, maintained, and changed by licensed nursing personnel. Diet and fluid consumption are monitored by a team of nurses and dieticians to ensure adequate dietary intake and to maintain the health of the ostomy.Diabetes Management
An interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and dieticians provides comprehensive care for residents with diabetes. To manage the disease and help prevent complications, we regularly provide:- Blood sugar tests
- Lab work-ups
- Weight screening
- Dietary supervision
- Skin monitoring
- Dental exams and oral care
- Eye exams

Wound Management
Physicians, nurses, and dietary staff work together to manage and prevent wounds. Full physical assessments are performed upon admission and then on a regular basis to maintain skin integrity.
